A great how to site on building an Electric Heatstick.

Remember this is based on American voltages if anyone uses the info.

The elements themselves cost $9.00ea., 5' of 14ga 3 wire rubber cord was $4.00ea., the plugs were $3.00 ea., metal drain tubes were $6.00ea, plastic extension tubes were $2.00, silicone aquarium sealant $3.00, and a couple dollars for the PVC caps and fittings, and #6 machine thread brass nuts, bolts, washers for the ground wire attachment to the metal tube. Each one took about an hour to build.

Beers,

problem is where they get those nice elements for so cheap. I tried for a month and most are around the $30-$90 mark (although they were most likly better elements)
