I was wondering how long you can keep grain once it has been crushed and how should it be stored.
I like to have my ingrediants sitting there for when I'm ready to go but sometimes I don't get to brew when I think I can. So I was just wondering how long is to long.

Not very long. It absorbs moisture and goes "slack". Its best used within say a day of crushing. I have kept HBS crushed grain for about 2 months before, in plastic bags to keep moisture out, but got quite low efficiency when I used it.

Crystal, chocolate etc, the grains without enzymes, can be stored for quite some time.

Crushed enzymatic malt (Pilks, ale, Munich etc) are much more of a problem. You need to keep them dry, so airtight containers etc. Some store malt in a freezer, dunno if that is a good idea with the cracked malt.

Even so would use soon as poss
