Keep an eye out online here and on ebay etc after Winter when people dig them up and split them for sale.

As far as I can tell, the main supplier in the Perth region is the Hop Shed in the south west. If you go to the website, you can sign up to get notified when they have rhizomes available (should be in a couple of months). And they will post them to you.

The trouble with buying online is that WA, with its strict quarantine laws, means that (in theory) you can not get rhizomes from outside of WA.

Also note that there are Quarantine restrictions to WA.
Your best bet will be to source from within WA.
One such example would be Rupert at "hopswest" on this forum and ebay. Username on this forum is Cannabaceae. There will be other sellers; that is just one that comes to mind. Just do a search of this forum for hopswest.

Places to check:

- Local Homebrew Clubs
- Ebay searching 'rhizome' or 'hop rhizome'
- AHB often has 3-4 sellers/swappers each year
- Sandy Ross from Hopco sells rhizomes each year - link to old grain & grape info: G&G Linky
- Colin Penrose from Brewers Choice in Victoria has also done mail orders of Rhizomes in the past.
- Gryphon Brewing has done mail orders of Rhizomes in the past.
- If you attend AHB caseswaps or join a club you get to know who's brewing with their own hops and what they have
and this is a great way to swap hops or get someone to dig a small portion up for you for the coming season too.
