Went to HBS today, and I was studying the hop oils (for bittering), add a few drops to taste before bottling, and hop emulsions (for aroma) which said add 2-3 drops before bottling.

Anyone tried these?

Are you studying for a coopers interview?

I have never tried them (apart from being ingredients in kits).
Why not just use fresh hops for bittering and aroma?

Good day
I have tried them in the past, they are OK but give a lemony, artifical taste IMHO. I still have a couple in the fridge that have been untouched for years.

I used some EKG in a bitter a couple of years ago but was underwhelmed. They're still in the fridge.

*Hint* most megabreweries use these. (Read VB).

Think you can guess the rest. ;)
