Hi I wonder if this could have an effect on results. My hop bag floated to the top and could not get it down and did not want to muck around with it for fear of contamination but could this be an issue with half the hops exposed to air inside tank? I would not think an issue, and hops seemed to be fine when I finished - not 'off' or anything like that. (note: I read posts about adding stainless steel nuts or some other inert product to weigh it down- next time :) )

no its not a problem relax have a home brew
 
Yes TGIF :) - something I have made has turned out ultra bitter, and I thoughts hop maybe off or something...
 
Dry hopping will not change bitterness in your beer at all.
