[SIZE=20pt]Enter your beer into the Hobart Brewers/New Sydney Hotel Pale Ale Competition, win first prize and we’ll make it happen.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=20pt]Entries in by 9 July 2014. [/SIZE]Entry is free however you must be or become a member of the Hobart Brewers club.
Judging will happen in 2 rounds, the first round requires 1 x 750ml bottle (or 2 small ones) and will be judged by people outside the Hobart Brewers club. They will select 5 finalists. The finalists will be notified and need to bring 4 x 750ml bottles along to the 16 July meeting where the final judging will be done by the club as a whole (with blind tasting and anonymous voting).
It will be a little more relaxed than a BJCP competition. What we’re aiming for is the beer that will be best on tap @ the New Syd, not the one that most strictly adheres to a set of style guidelines. We want something interesting and delicious!
