Took my HERMS coil out of my pot due to leaving washer in there that wern't SS and with a combo of water BAM! rust.. anyway.

I've left it out and it has some white stuff on it, Is this normal?

Your water must be hard Gav, no worries the wort flows inside.

Yeah but I thought maybe the rust may have done some stuff to the coil, I did a water test on the inside and it seems clear. just double checking.
 
Yep!

Mine is green from oxidation!

Copper will discolour when exposed to oxygen, so it is normal. If you're worried, soak in a warm PBW solution and then give a scrub. Should clean up great.

This is also why I'm going stainless for my next coil!
