herm-it element enclosure - how do I make one?

So you don't plan to use that grey enclosure that comes with the hermit element?
If not, why not? I had no trouble with assembly.
If you look closely you can just make out the grey enclosure at the bottom of the HEX.

Coz I didnt actually buy the one from onlinebrewingsupplies.
I was just using the link coz it had pics. I bought an element separate

Ive built the HEX, now just looking at ways to enclose the element base and terminals.
I wanna use a square abs enclosure thats big enough for it to sit on

Good simple design, where did you buy the tea canisters?

Got them from a really big & well stocked variety shop for about $4 each from memory....
Its a great one, they sell heaps of kitchen stuff and heaps of stainless stuff that can be really easily re-purposed.
eg. 40.5cm dia perforated steel colanders for $20 (perfect for false bottoms or similar)
