Heya guys,

So i stupidly put my OUT coupler into my IN post on my corny keg, and can't get it out, and I need it for today! Any help would be so appreciated! I'm trying to get my hands on a spanner, so I'd appreciate tips with a spanner and without the spanner! I've already cut the skin up between my thumb and index finger trying to pull it out. derp.

Cheers!

Good luck.

Try multi/vice grips.

I failed last time. In my defense, someone had rebuilt the keg wrong and it had two gas posts!

I ended up cutting the disconnect off. I dont know what happened to the keg. I assume the disconnect and post were unscrewed as one and replaced with the proper liquid post.

Try a small gear puller, you can get them with two or three fingers. It should lift up the collar and give you something substantial to hold and tug with.
Edit afterthought: Don't tug too much if your on a promise though!

You mean the black/grey plastic disconnect is on the wrong post?
Elbow grease and frustrated swearing is about the only method that has worked for me. It has worked though, on several ocassions.

Multigrips and a hammer has worked for me. Multigrips under disconnect parallel with top of the keg.Tap multis with a hammer away from the top of the keg so it lifts the ring of disconnect as you hammer.

While pulling up on the flange, give it a push down to release it as much as possible then PULL!

Open ended spanner under disconnect, lever off. Works every time. Make sure you disengage the disconnect whilst levering.

Your welcome.

+1 for the Brad spanner method. I've had problems in the past with German kegs that don't seem to have quite the same post diameters as the USA ones.

Yep another level event here, but I used a screwdriver
