Having taken on board some good advice from this board, I got home from a Sydney Brewhouse Bucks Night and tried to call off my own wedding by starting a brew at 11. :beerbang:

A week later the gravity is sitting at 1024, having started at 1072. After 48 hours I added 500g of demerara/brown sugar home made candi sugar. After this addition the gravity was 1042. It smells like bacon, but tastes is pretty subtle. There is not action from the keg after 5 days, but the first four days it was purring non stop @ 22degrees.

Golden colour but not clear, is the gravity too high to bottle? Is brwon sugar a waste of time? Any feedback appreciated
