$45 from Victoria's Basement. Does up to 10kg, accurate to 0.1g and so far repeat weighings have been spot on.

Noice mate, good scales are worth their weight in gold.........
Yeah, definitely. I had another set of scales I bought from Kmart for $20. It was a piece of ****. Every time I put a bowl on the thing to weigh some hops, it gave me an entirely different measurement. Thought **** this, I'm going to spend a little bit of coin on a half decent set. Luckily it was on sale and half price but a mate of mine who works in the local hospital say they use the same brand (Soehnle) for their lab equipment and said it was top notch. That's good enough for me.

I have some that auto shut off after about 10 secs.

Gotta be bloody quick with those.....

They have been replaced though, with a 40kg set for grain and a 500g set for hops.

Much bettererer

(Soehnle)
Long standing German brand. Not guaranteed quality these days, but at least history. And probably quality.
