APPRECIATING STOUT
The best thing about winter is stout, stout and more stout. In celebration of this fine style we are holding a stout appreciation night here at the brewery on Wed 27 July at 6pm. Dave will give us the background and then well blind taste 6 exponents of the style, judge and enthusiastically debate. Come to learn more about beer and to make new pals. Tickets $35 p/head pre-booked on 9428-1180. Light food provided. Thirty places max.

OLD SUREFOOT
Last July we tucked away 170 x 640ml longnecks of our stout. Weve just pulled them out of the cellar, applied the Old Surefoot label and theyre now making their way out to a few good outlets including Transport (City), Cloud Wines (Sth Melb), Purvis Cellars (Surry Hills) and the Goat bar. Shes matured a treat, big coffee and chocolate flavours and nicely rounded.

NEW DRAUGHT ACCOUNTS
A couple of new Hightail tap accounts to mention- the Grace Darling on Smith Street, Collingwood and the Spread Eagle on Bridge Rd, Richmond. These fine establishments are hereby Mountain Goat Approved.

Also now available at the Pancake Parlour (can you believe it?). Only in the bottle though. (Means I don't have to drink lime spiders any more. )

Description on the menu describes it as "organic beer".

Does that mean that the 12 month withholding period on last year's Old Surefoot is up, and I can drink it now?

...just have to find it at the back of all the empties now...ho hum.
