I have had a Paulaner mini keg sitting around since this time time last year, with the intent of refilling it with my own beer as a cheap dispensing unit for parties. When I finally got around to trying to open the *******, I've had no luck at all. I've looked at a few guides online, and they all say that with this type of mini keg, once you remove the little top bung, you just have to push firmly down on the inside of the lower part of the bung and it will pop out, allowing you to then fish it out and refill the keg.
As you can see from my pics in this album, I've tried this and so far have only managed to mangle the inner piece, without it moving at all...
Has anyone managed to open one of these and reuse it for yourself?
