I've only used the German Ale/Klsch(WLP029) once and I got an attenuation of 85%.
The yeast specs are for an attenuation of 72-78%

Have any of you guys used this yeast much, and is 85% common or likely to be a one-off ?

TIA,
Doc

i havent used it for about 3 years doc, but i was getting 80-85%

Cheers Oz.
Will calc the recipe on 80% then I think.
Makes it a bit of a guess though when you are trying to produce a beer of specific parameters.

yeah your right......spend all that time working out sugars and hops, then dont take into acount the yeast

Good Day Doc
Used it this year for a kolsch 80% and an alt 77%.

Just racked the Kolsch and it is already at 79.17% attenuation.
Will mention it to White Labs when I visit them in July.
