Hi There,

I have a question for brewers that run multiple kegs through a gas manifold.

I purchased a 3 keg gas manifold from BD in the States, and connected three kegs to it the other day. I have noticed that, when you shut off two of the three kegs, the regulator does not show the pressure in the keg. So I can't reduce the pressure for dispensing.

Any tricks, or is that how the gas manifold are designed to work?

Also, almost finished bar and keg fridge (only finishing touches to go). Hook up kegs to taps, yesterday, to have my first homebrew since October, only to discover a crack in the gas barb fitting. Murphy's law.

Cheers,
Jase

Turn the regulator off. Take off one of the gas lines. Open the shut off valve. Depress the do-hickey inside the disconnect. This will let out the pressure in the line and the secondary gauge, and it will be back to zero.

A bit of messing about, but it works.

Cheers

Thanks MAH,

I hooked up the kegs on Friday, and after discovering a leak, due to a hose clamp being too big, I changed the hose clamp and hooked everything up again, and the regulator now works.

Cheers,
Jase
