Hi all

I have a keg of galaxy ale I ked it chucked it on at 50 kpa to let it slow carb.

First few days it was awesome a week later it became bitter and harsh I decided to disconnect the keg from the gas and drink from the pressure in the keg after drinking about a 6 beers over a few days the bitterness has slowly dissipated and the flavor has stated to come back up.

What's the go should I be using straight co2 or get a mix with nitrogen? Or carb up disconnect from gas and only at more when needed?

I think it will all be an experiment.
A nitrogen system will be reasonably expensive just to experiment if it improves that beer.
Reports on here do say that Galaxy can be harsh when bittering so it may be easier just to change your recipe.
Another couple of things you may want to consider is serve it at a warmer temperature or if you can degass it and naturally carbonate in the keg with some sugar or dextrose it may improve.
This will depend on how much beer is left in the keg. :)
