G’day Brewers,

I just started.
Bought a coopers home brew kit the other week.
But the Lager down that it came with and then a week later bought another fermenter to get a coopers stout kit going too.
Will start off with the simple stuff first to see how it goes.

Great be part of the forums. I look forward to contributing.

Welcome aboard, lots of info here.Read up the posts on cleaning, sanitizing. Also important, temp control of the fermentation and the effect of temp on the yeast. The recommendations for fermentation temps in the kits is usually way to hot.

Thanks Kev,

Bottled today after 10days in the fermenter.
My garage has a remarkably stable temp of 18 deg right now. No doubt it’ll drop over winter.
Bottles were new so I only used sanitizer then rinsed with cold water before bottling today.
Fingers crossed it goes well. It’ll be a long two week wait.
