hi all,
wasnt sure exactly where to post this and couldnt find anything of help on ye ol' Google so hope any of you can help!
pitched the yeast in my first BIAB all-grain yesterday (Dr Smurto's Landlord ESB clone) and checked it this morning to find that the fermenting wort appeared to be 'alive'; what looked like cold-break debree was swirling around in the wort as if it was alive and swimming around (kind of reminded me of 'sea monkeys haha). no one had touched the fermentor at all but these large clumps were swimming in all directions (not just up and down) and were throughout the whole thing. quite an odd sight that ive never seen before on any other extract brews
everything went well with the brew and theres currently a healthy Krausen from the US-04. i followed my usual sanitation regime and used no-rinse starsan.
am i worrying over nothing or is my brew possessed?
Thanks!
