Fs: Test Tube Packages (20x Tubes, Rack, 20x Stoppers)

Hi guys,

Got some test tube packs to get rid of. Included is 20 borosilicate/pyrex test tubes, 20 chemical resistant stoppers and a test tube rack to suit. The tubes and stoppers are autoclavable/high-temperature sterilizable.




A single pack is $30 including shipping australia wide. Additional packs $25 with combined shipping.

Being slightly spastic but very stubborn, I laboured and laboured to make nice wooden test tube racks, stuffed it, started again, stuffed it, started again, stuffed it, gave up, reconsidered, started again, stuffed it, gave up then thought 'stuff it I'm not going to give up', started again and FINALLY knocked out two for 50 tubes each, lined with soft packing foam and varnished with marine varnish. They look good to me and are certainly functional although a carpenter/woodworker could probably make me feel like a ninny.

My question to you is WHERE WAS MY BLOODY RACK?

All that aside, I can vouch for these tubes and stoppers - I bought 75 recently and they are good, solid, as described and Sera is good to deal with.

Wicked manticle, thanks for the props, always good to hear things are going well. I apologise for not having the racks then - I actually was in the same boat, trying to make them. Then realised i'm not a test-tube-rack-maker-er, so finally seeked alternative arrangements! swing me your addy via PM for a free one if you still need it.




Turns out I have 8 sets, 7 are currently sold to:

L_bomb, itmechanic, syd_03, josh, maple, lukewarm, gap.

if manticle PM's me the last set is also gone, otherwise someone else can grab the last one.

It's cool mate. Appreciate the offer but I did finally manage to make a couple. Let it go to someone who needs one. I'll post some pictures of my efforts tomorrow if I remember. It was more of a mammoth effort trying to make tt-racks than making my esky mash tun with copper manifold and doing a keggle conversion combined but the satisfaction in cracking the nut is pretty good.

Okay guys just a quick update, i've started posting out the orders, sorry I can only carry three a day to work, but you should get them by the end of the week

Also, not that I'm really in it for the money, but postage this round costed twice what I expected, so I'm actually running at a loss here... So the next round I will have to recalculate the price and probably bump it up a bit The current sets I have now however, I will honour the price I communicated ($30 inc shipping).
