Hi all,
Apparently some bright sparks jumped on the make-everything-FruChoc bandwagon and created a dark FruChoc-infused beer (see what it looks like here: http://ripitup.com.au/food-and-drink/fruchocs-craft-beer-is-now-a-thing/#.VRTN9_yUdL0). My guess is that it's some kind of porter or stout.
For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of trying FruChocs they are delicious balls of sugary dried apricots covered in chocolate.
I'm kind of interested to give this a go with an all-grain recipe. I'd probably go down the route of a porter. My guess is that all of that dried apricotty goodness would come across a little bit like the rasiny tastes you get from crystal malt. Anyone got ideas on a recipe formulation?
