I have a blonde ale wort refidgerated in a cube at the moment. About 5% of it has frozen into a large iceburg.

I'm in the process of letting it heat up to pitching temps at the moment. Is the freeze-unfreezing process going to cause any issues?

Cheers,

None. I have used frozen wort for starters (and I pitch my whole starters).

Excellent. Thanks for chiming in. - I might follow suite and partition-freeze starters too, now that I know there's no problem doing so.

as long as the yeast doesnt get frozen the wort wont matter. Just pitch the yeast when the wort and yeast are both at or very close to the fermentation temps.

I've had a fermenter freeze up and it carbed up in the bottle no worries, so you might be right. It came out bloody clear too, which was a bonus :)
