folks, i have 2,004 sqm brand new freezer panels in Darwin (well we can ship them anywhere we want in aus can't we)
specs is 950mm(w) x 2490mm(l) x 100mm(t)
both sides are ribbed, pure steel, one side is paperbark the other is surfmist coloured. quality EPS core ( not fireproof)

we were supposed to use them for prefabs so one side should be flat, but somehow there were someone screwed up the production and made both side ribbed, so we need to get rid of these panels.

pickup price is aud 29/sqm, bloody cheap - the quality is top grade, tolerance less than 3mm!! we just need to dump them as soon as possible so they are cheap!

reply here or send email to [email protected],

forgot one thing, total thickness is 100m, the thickness of steel is 0.6mm! good stuff

Why so thick
it's for prefabs so will be thicker than normal freezer use, the original warranty was to maintain for 30 years so we needed to make it thick enough for people who are going to enjoy not cold but freezing beers in it forever.

its a tough call, especially with shipping, any idea what the shipping would be?
I haven't send inquiries to shipping companies because I haven't got any inquiry for this issue, roughly about 3 trucks I think it enough to load all, the quantity is maybe tough but the price is so sweet, it's about 50% lower than factory price.

so to put it in perspective thats around $690, for a 1.8m square coolroom (10 sheets) plus angle to make joints, plus freight, and a window AC.

Sounds like freight on those is going to be a nightmare coming from Darwin.

that's about right, no freight no window is $548, and the bigger the room you build the more cost you save on it.

I have sent goods to Darwin, a flat bed truck was the cheapest, but call me a sceptic, I don't think the steel panels could be 6 mm, it would take one hell of a press to press the ribbing unless it is hot rolled are you sure it isn't 0,6mm.

Put 1 panel into our couriers at work freight calc Darwin to Port Melbs, one was ~$150 the other $240+

thanks for your reply, fortunately you are a sceptic, I rechecked the specs sheet it is .6mm, there was a dot before 6 so I need to apologize to everyone, it's all my fault. sorry Stu what I meant was to compare this with 0.4mm ordinary sheets, not 6mm.
I think the best way to send those sheets is to use trucks and containers.
