Can it be done? is it bad? i have plenty of freezer space, but bugger all space for CC in a fridge?
 
I wouldn't think it is conditioning if it is in a solid state.
 
hmm, well yes, there is that.. but as im not sure whats actually happening in the conditioning process...

any idea anyone? would it go 'freezery'?
 
One thing I am certain about is if your wort freezes you'll rupture the yeast cell walls. I don't know what affect this will have on the flavour but I'd bet it isn't good.
 
i figured that might happen, but didn't really worry about it.. but yes.. off flavours might not be a good thing...
