At mt work they have changed the surf control , now I can not access AHB , bummer what can I do on nightshift ??
Must be the word brewer I think , any of you experts know a way around this?

Take some of your beer in for your sys admin and bribe him to add this site to the whitelist. :blink: Other than that, not too sure as to what else can be done.

Is there an XML or RSS feed available for this site anyone? I could probably knock up a GUI if I could get an XML feed.

Depending on how the site filtering is done, you may be able to access the forum directly via the IP address, ie:

You could try and use an anonymous proxy.
There is a list at http://www.samair.ru/proxy/ mind you, admins tend to block all sites and then add in the ones they want to allow access to via network addresses and/or ranges.

You might get lucky. Just try telnetting to them first (to see if they are alive - e.g. C:\> telnet 193.194.92.170 6588) and then set the IP addresses/ports up in your browser proxy configuration and give them a whirl.

Sounds like your stuffed if they have blocked the site .... could bring a laptop in and dial out to the internet
