I have this gas bottle ive had for a years now, which i have not had a use for recently (well the last 2 years really, just didnt want to get rid of it).

Its a 1.5KG bottle i believe, think i bought it off ebay or maybe this forum or something. Got no idea what these are worth now days, so if your interested, make an offer.

Currently just getting rid of anything that i dont use, or is taking up space as i have my eye on a new car, and am also travelling to OKTOBERFEST!!!!! this year.

Here are some photos. There is a possibility the safety seal (i think thats what its called) might need to be replaced, as i cant remember if its good or not. I had it replaced when i first got the bottle, and from memory the co2 place charged me around $5.

Not sure what all the stamped in information is, so i will try to get as detailed as i can pictures and maybe someone here can figure it out.

Bottle is still available. Is $100 + Cost of postage reasonable?

Or can be picked up in Geelong (evenings) or Melbourne (weekdays)

PM reply, replied to. I could go that high, but lets see what other offers you get first.

I think $100 is reasonable. I'd be willing to pay that much if you lived in Brisbane and could tell me for sure a place you know will refill it etc.

But keep in mind you can get brand new 2.6kg ones for about $180 now.

Yeah, thats the thing with stuff like this, i got a lot of brewing bits and pieces, i dont use some of them very much, but know they are hard to come across and this stuff holds its value pretty well, so i tend to horde it. Maybe ebay is the better option, ill have a bit of a scan now to see if there is anything similar.

As for filling it, pressure testing, valve replacement - LiquidAir used to do it for me without much issue in geelong. And also i think Chubb (have some pressure testing and gas refilling service) was the other place i had it inspected and filled when i first got it.

Also to consider this is Steel and not Aluminum. So its going to last basically forever and a day.

Actually I forgot to sell on ebay you need to have a PayPal account linked to your ebay account. Due to the fact i hate paypal, think they are a corrupt, poorly run, fraudulent, self governing criminal company, i refuse to have an account with them anymore. Long story, basically, if i was to take money from a person without permission, and without explanation as to why, id be considered a criminal. A thief. If PayPal takes money from you, and refuses you access to it, and refuse to explain why PayPal took it. Thats called a "precautionary measure in the interest of safety users". --> PayPal...... we are no longer friends. You used to be cool.

So anyway, ill leave it up here for a week or so, if no one wants it, i guess ill just hang onto it.

Price: $100 + postage or pickup in melb during the day, or geelong the evenings

Seems a bit much for a tiny bottle... Although you never know... You might get some pissed guy on eBay go wild and offer you more.
I know this guy that was drunk and on eBay. He bid on a keg setup... Next day he was checking his emails and he had a message saying he had to pay for his item.... That guy was me!
