Hey Guys,
Made a brew as follows:-
44 ltr.
Pale Ale------------------- 8.5 Kg
Carared ----------------- .8
Caraaroma -------------- .4
Roast Barley ------------ .04

Mash 60 min @ 65 deg.
Boil 60 min.

magnum 32 g @ 60
EKG 42 g @15
Dry Hop 40 g Galaxy
Actual O.G. was 1.055
This has been split with half fermented with US-05 and the other half with Wyeast 1084.
After 3 weeks @ 20 deg and 3 days @ ambient (20 deg approx.) the us-05 lot is at 1.016.
The Wyeast 1084 is at 1.019
Constant over three days.
My opion is that it is finished and ready for cold chill and kegging but I am happy to get any advice from more competent brewers.in this regard.
Thanks for any input Fellers.

1084 attenuation is around 71-75%, while the us05 is around 73-77%.. There is bound to be a difference in FG with different yeasts, I'd say leave it another few days, extra time won't hurt but I don't know how many extra points it could move.

Thanks mate.I'll give it couple of days then keg it ok.Getting short of beer.

.......It's had over 3 weeks at 20C - IT'S FINISHED!!! No need to wait a few more days. Keg whenever you want.

Cheers Ross
