I have recently aquired a second fermenter, which is of the screw top design.
My problem is it's too tall for my brew fridge!! (by a couple of cm's)

was wondering if there was anyone out there, that could do with the taller skinnier version and would be keen for a swap. B)
the ferm has only been used once, so no issues there.

let me know...
(i'm in sydney)

KoNG,

Is it the fermenter itself that's too tall or is it too tall once the airlock is inserted?

No it doesnt quite fit in the section of my fridge.!
definately wouldnt fit with airlock.
My original ferm just fits with airlock fitted.... and the new ferm is about 8cm taller.

Note to KoNG,

When in doubt tape-measure always fits in pocket. :D

hmmm,
Note to warren, it was an extra thrown in with an order i just made.
so i couldnt be picky..! :)

just thought i'd try my luck, and that someone may actually be looking for something i had that i didnt want.

Is it a 25 litre or 30 litre fermenter? If it's 30 litre, I have a spare 25 litre that I'm willing to swap. I have only done 5 or 6 brews so is fairly new also.

Cheers

EDIT: Not trying to get a 30 litre for a 25 litre - it's justy that a 25 litre is about 10 cm shorter and might be a better fit :( :)

quincy...
that would be great...
