There is plenty of football to watch this weekend. Parramatta play Nth Qld on Sunday to decide who will meet the mighty West-Tigers in the Grand Final next week. For those of you that are not interested, or need to get off the couch & outside, get along to FEASTABILITY! Kicking off from 11am, Newtown's own Food & Wine Festival is held each year in the grounds of Newtown High School of Preforming Arts, it is a great afternoon. The highlight of the day will of course be St Peters Blonde on tap. You could not find a fresher beer as it is within a well kicked spiral punt of the brewery. Matt Donelan & his son Mike will be launching their new bottled beer, Green Star Lager. It is a great chance to try some of the different foods from Newtowns restuarants and wash it down with some great beers. Matt is always ready for a chat so if you can get along & support a local brewery! :beer:
