Father's Day - Potters Brewery

I've just been told by the family that my treat for Father's Day is a trip to Potters for lunch.

I'd thought I'd check on here to see if any other local brewers going to be there?

Well what an afternoon!

Fantastic tour/discussion with Craig. I was with other members of the family, who are generally less excited than me about beer styles that don't taste like the standard commercial offerings.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to get up to Potters to check out there setup, and it was very enjoyable to take a tour of a brewery run by someone who actually knows about brewing rather than reading from a script like you get at some of the larger tours.

The place was packed, which is no surprise considering the day (and the weather).

So if you're a local and have been slack like me and not made the trip up there before - DO IT! You won't regret it and no doubt get to have a good chat with the brewer(s).
