I did a dry stout on the weekend and used the slurry from my last brew (1098) I pitched the yeast straight in from the fridge, it took off like a freight train all fermented in two days is this ok or should I be concerned.

Don't worry (unless your wort was above ferm temps when you whne you pitched it)
 
No it was spot on i also have excellent temp control, there are no bad smells and it tast great. I have never had one ferment out so quick. i have taken the slurry from this brew to use tomorrow i got almost 3L.

That is how quick they are supposed to ferment. Should be a great drop
 
Just a follow up on my fast finishing yeast, I keg it yesterday into my dispensing keg 9 days after brew day, I had to have a try it was one of the best stouts I have tried even the minister for war ane finance loved it.
