Been wanting to make a red ale for some time.
Here's what i came up with.
4kg JW pale
1kg Munich ll
300g Caaroma
150g flaked oats
Mash in @52 for 10min
Add water to 64 for 60min.
Add water to 71 mash out at that.
25g fuggles@ 40min
25g EKG@40@ 40min
25g Styrian goldings at 0
25g EKG at 0
Amazing colour in the kettle boil time was 90 min for 25lt in the fermenter.
Yeast US 05 ferment 5 days at 18c raise 20 for 5 rack to cube 2 weeks cold condition .
Filter into keg carb and drink.

Thanks for the update - definitely appreciate hearing how things turn out when recipes are being posted! Think I might give this a shot in the next couple months

Give it a go Rohin the only thing i would change is maybe drop the caaroma back to 200g as it got a bit cloying after a few pints.
This is what im making on my next break that and some type of rye ale.
Had a Rye ale at the Beaten Track brewery in Kalgoorlie bloody beautiful.
