So had a clean up a few weeks ago and i found a 10l stokes electric urn under my stairs, i was going to sell it but occurred to me that although too small for a BIAB setup i could find another use for it.
I just put on my first cider so it was handy to heat up 3ltrs of water instead of boiling the kettle a few times, anyone else have a smallish urn and what other uses do you have for it ?

If you do decide to sell it, you'll probably have quite a few buyers from the RoboGrainBrauGuten mob who need sparge water.

Full volume BIAB in a 40L urn is a good brewing solution but they can be a PITA to heat the strike water initially. Last year I bought a 20L Crown urn off Gumtree that's the little bro to my full size urn and it's great for heating the strike liquor in parallel to shorten the brew day.
