OK, thanks, that makes sense now. So I need a "1" BSP element", not a 1.25"?

Anyone after a 1.25" BSP Element. 2kW.

While I'm failing at DIY101, how come I see lots using 2.4kW elements?
I went for 2kW to be inside 10amps, do 2.4kW run on 10a circuits?
I took it to be A = W/V = 10.4amps for 2400 watts.

I feel like I've let mankind down today, I'm sorry brothers.

yeah i was looking at some 1"+ ? ones and was just to worried i would not find the socket / nut to secure it...

found the ones i bought and thought they make it easy with 1" bsp

installed one today using a backing nut but need to sort the plug / wiring.

using a file on a keg is noisy...

2400W/240V = 10A
