Electric elements hlt for herms

Hi guys,

Looking for a bit of advice, am putting together the component parts of a 10 gallon herms. I'm planning on doing step mashs but am a bit concerned that a single 2200 watt element in my hlt won't be enought to ensure a temperature rise of 1degree C per minute. I can always install multiple elements but would appreciate any thoughts or experience with similar you might have

Great site, have been trawling through every HB store I could find looking for hardware like this but settled on herms as I have most of the hardware to hand. If the budget allows I can always reconfigure in the future.

Beware of Cocko, he's only newly converted to rimming, now he's trying to talk everyone he meets into trying it out, even if they're only slightly curious.

I've seen some videos on the internet of it, but just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should.

Personally, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth...
