Yeah, having dealt with this guy before, he's not very helpful at all. Your best bet might be to find someone who lives nearby to pick it up for you and organise a courier.

I emailed him if to ask pot came with a lid (it doesn't) about 4 days before the last auction - no reply.
I arranged a pickup time - he was late by an hour (so missed it)
Arranged another pickup time - my sister was late by 10 mins and he had a bit of a go at her.

That's why I though to offer myself to arrange a courier to pick it up, so it's no different from me personally going there to pick it up. Just COD would become Paypal.

Not good enough for the mash, but at 10 pound delivered, it's good enough for the kettle where you just need to know when it's approaching the boil or when the immersion chiller has cooled it sufficiently.

from what I remember people were saying the pump is wrong and the vessels are cut LPG tanks (which is bad)..

yep didn't think about that, also I guess good for quick snapshots for when you are getting the HLT / or BIAB up to temp. Once it's close then you can start using the manual thermometer checks

My primary use will be my HLT water, so I don't need total accuracy, I do have digital stick thermometer but I've never calibrated it h34r:
