It's not exactly brewing related but last night I found a Human Soul for sale on ebay.

Starting bid $12.50 or "Buy It Now" for $100.

I was curious - so for a bit of fun I sent the seller this message.

Hi

I was just wondering what size your soul is.

I am a larger gentleman and I either need a really big soul or two size mediums

Are you the owner, or did you buy it from some other poor soul.

Also can you post a photo.

Thanks

His reponse:

I am the owner and I used to be a fatty so it would be a larger soul.

So then i sent him a further quey

Thanks for your response.
Can you tell me what model soul it is? I have been advised to avoid the R-model.
I dont think an R soul would suit me

Feel free to send the poor soul (pun intended) an endless stream of questions about his soul for sale

I'm happy to be corrected if wrong, but I'm pretty sure that everyone comes equiped with and R-soul...fairly standard equipment.

Just like you, why would I need another?? I'd definately barter him down though, no more than $2.50 :)

I can just hear the haggling now.

"I'm not paying $5.00 for that R-soul it's got a big crack in it. I'll give you $2.50"

I wouldn't trust a soul to be shipped with standard aus post shipping, either.

R-souls are notorious for dribbling ****. Shave, bore out , and replace gaskets for better performance.

Ok - I am a child in a 46 year old body I know.....but I had to send him another question

Hi again.
Further to my question about what model soul you are selling.
If it is in fact an R-soul could you please confirm that it does not have a crack or hole in it.
Thanks

I just cant help myself
