A while back the maker was giving a $30 refund after they announced they would be discontinuing the Tapking. There's a thread here somewhere with the email address to make your claim. Might be inactive now.

I like how they tell you what yeast it actually is so you can see how much money you save if you where to buy it from a reputable home brew shop.

I'd buy these for the sake of it......but choose to avoid detention from the wife.


I couldn't be happier with mine. Anyone who gets these will be stoked. I believe the brumby is the tap of choice now.

Trying hard to resist bidding on both of these, would love to upgrade to flooded fonts for my five taps.

And rightly so. They are actually in near mint condition. I found the seller has cleaned them up and fresh grease applied to o-rings and mechanisms.

And this stuff is HEAVY. It is solid stainless steel. I know first hand. I over torqued the tap when tightening to the font and broke the braising. ****** heart stopper. But I took it to a local stainless steel expert and he tigged it up magically.

As part of my repair queries, I called Andale, and they were also happy to sell me just the part I needed for not too much more than the repair. I prefer to see the scars though and this welder made fermenters for Coopers.

And those brumby taps on the 3 tap Andale font, they are totally curvacious. Bloody beautiful.

I don't need a font but this caught my attention - is there any chance this Brisbane-based stainless welder with experience in the brewing industry is interested in making conical stainless fermenters? :)

He says yes (well, that's implied). He said he can build anything. When I met him he was repairing 1000l brand new chinese fermenters - they leaked. I'm not certain if it is the cheapest but we should find out. Want to start a PM? We can talk specs and ask about a price.

Edit: you probably won't, but if you were going to toss the coopers PA decal, post it up to me and I'll fix you up for it.
 
I may actually not want the decal. Will take a look when it arrives and pm you if I don't want it
