Seriously though, it is a bit expensive. I got my 220l olive barrel for a lot less... $20 iirc

About 2 years ago the 220 litre barrels could be bought for $7 from these guys. Don Burke (the gardener, not the brewer) was a big fan.

The esky that is bottom left is what I use for a mash tun. Works a treat and fit standard stainless taps and fittings from the brew shop no dramas. Would recommend. Drops 1.5 deg over a 60min mash with 25L of 65'C liquid.
