Just want a easy drinking mid-strength
I have 2 cans of coopers larger & 1kg of BE2
Just thinking
1 can of coopers larger
500g BE2
x2
Any thoughts if this would taste ok,just as something to slam down on long hot days working in the shed
Cheers :D

sounds good, but i'd boil some hops too
maybe some POR
5g @30 mins
5g@15 mins
5g @2 mins

I'd add the PoR as suggested, or even just a hop bag if you can't be fked.
I made a similar brew and tasted it at 2 weeks old last night - for a basic brew it definitely has potential! The PoR really gives it a familiar Aussie lager aroma n bit of flavour.

For something real easy and light go the Coopers Cerveza with a BE2, ferment at 15c,
4 weeks in the bottle goes down super easy and smooth.
For a little lighter still on a hot day for slamming down just the can and 1/2 kg of LDM.

I found the cervaza was fairly sweet, but that was with 1kg BE2 and 500g ldme

is it just a case of halving the sugar (to 500g) and a beer becomes a mid strength?

more or less
there's less food for the yeasties to convert to alcohol
