G'day Fellas

I have put together a Hop Hog clone and will be attempting my first dry hop tonight (day 8). I am hoping to put them in one of my hop bags and weighting it with a few clean and sanitised marbles. Has anybody else tried it this way before and does it sound like it can be done safely?

Cheers,

Dan

Fine. Also fine just dropping them in, bag loosely packed or no bag at all. Bag definitely for flowers as they clog taps.. Yes they seem to float on top but moisture wicks through over the days they are there and flavour and aroma comes out. They don't need to be at the bottom to work in my experience but if you are concerned, try the marbles.

Thanks Manticle, they are pellet form so i think i will just throw them in with a few marbles and she can sit on the bottom and do her thing. :)

cheers,

I always just drop my pellets in and don't worry about any bags or the like

Free them from the bag. I can't see the point behind one at all.

Yep, I just throw them in - no bag.
