Hi,

This may be a stupid question but has anyone got guidance/photos for drilling the hole through the freezer lid when fitting a font. I have bought a font and measured up the nipple and the lid thickness and they are both about 50mm which means I have no nipple left to bolt onto. Am I thinking about this correctly or when you drill this hole do you remove the insulation and bolt down onto the back of the lid metal?

Ta,

Christopher

I just used bolts and big washers. There was a plastic lining on the underside that supports the washers. Haven’t had an issue.

There not all constructed the same you may be able to remove the plastic liner and replace when finished.

OK, sounds like I have to suck it and see ....
