Dried Vs Liquid Malt Extract

I'm planning to attempt my first full extract brew in the next couple days

going for this

I was assuming it would be one tin light malt and one tin wheat malt

this recipe's got 2.5kg dried and 1kg liquid = 3.5kg total (if dried is used in same weight as liquid)

If i just use 2 tins, as i presumed, i'll only have 3kg

I've got a couple tins light malt, one tin wheat and some dried in the stockpile.

should i just use one tin each?

should i bulk it up to 3.5kg with some dried?

Liquid malt is approximately 20% water. 1000g of liquid malt is equivalent to 800g dry malt.

So you'd need 3kg of liquid malt to equal 2.5kg of dry malt.

I did that recipe with 1 can of coopers light malt, 1 can of coopers wheat, 250g of Simpson's crystal (steeped) and 250g dextrose. Each can is 1.5kg. Came out as one of my best brews so far.
