Double Posting & Email Errors

I just came across an email related error (when posting) that causes the forum to double post. I have changed the meail settings so hopefull it should correct the problem. Any further problems please report in here.

i keep on getting error messages when i'm trying to post messages, Some of the messages work most dont!

I've been deleting the double posts that I've been seeing in the forums. Deleted a couple by Batz and Wedge.

Is there any way to revers the post order in the windows...ie having the most recent one at the top?

This would save scrolling down to the bottom of the page for the most recent...

Anyone else want this?

Actually it is a bad idea. If you haven't read the thread before you'll see the replies first and lose track of the flow of the thread.

It is frowned upon in usenet for much the same reason.

What would be good is a "go to first unread post" link in each thread.

I don't see the "First Unread Post" anywhere. All we have is "Last post by:" meaning that there may be unread posts between last read and most recent... but it doesn't bother me too much the way it is.

I would be really bothered if all the threads were presented upside down, though.

Yeah reversing the order isn't a good idea.

I am working on the last post from the recent links box (should be up soon).

PM when you go to a thread there should be a link next to the pages which will take you to the last post you have seen (it isn't in the recent topic box, you see it once you enter that thread)

One request that I have. Is it possible to get the cookie trail (the "AussieHomeBrewer.com -> The Brew House -> News and Updates" thing) at the bottom of each thread as well? Other wise you have to use the "back to top" link jsut to see where you are in the context of the forum, after you've read the last post.
