Hi all
I'm just gonna bulk prime a Coopers sparkling ale with dextrose. I've never used it for bulk priming before. Just use sugar.
OG 1052 FG 1014

If I was using sugar I would use 160--170 gms.
Should I use the same amount of dextrose? More? Less?

kwik answer appreciated as i need to do it this arvo :D

cheers

Assuming you have 20 - 23L I would go for 170 - 180g depending on how gassy you like it , 160 may not be as gassy as you like (not bad for english bitters etc).

I think dextrose is a little harder to ferment so conditioning may take an extra week compared to cane sugar to achieve the same carbonation. I hav always found the bubbles to be finer with dextrose however.

Going to try this on a keg next.
