I'll admit this is a bit of a shameless plug as a mate has just bought his own bar which is having it's grand opening tonight (1/4/14 - Not a april fools joke)

Six taps and a fantastic bottle list, which has shown me the magic of Oakham Ales, is available with some bloody fantastic food.

According to facebook, Everyone is welcome and we have some great drink specials lined up along with some samples of our beers, wines and menu items.
Official proceedings start at 18:30 but we'll be open from 3pm.

Excellent. Let the pricing battle with Flat Rock Brew Cafe begin. Surely they can do better than $10 a pint. My old man almost keeled over when he had to hand over a lobster for two beers last weekend!!

They have six strings for $6, i think that is their cheapest.

Regretting going to the opening last night as I got quite merry and then loose with my wallet.
