Can anyone confirm if these kegs can have the posts changed to ball lock type, might be able to get them free.

One of them at least looks like a Kegland branded keg, so I'd say it should just be a matter of unscrewing the posts and replacing them with regular gas and liquid ball lock posts.
 
Looks like they are ball lock kegs. Someone's just put snaplock adapters on them.
 
Yes they are, the fittings are for converting to QD line valves used in a lot of pubs as washout tanks for line cleaning..
I have only seen them made in Cornelius thread, not Spartanburg or anything else. Mind you the fittings that are on there aren't cheap might be worth more as is (sell them and put the money into brand new)
