Hi All,
Is their anyone in Melbourne that is able to recork champagne bottles?
On occassion I have bottled in super strong champagne bottles and then capped them which works really well but recently had a spark of an idea when confronted with those annoying restaurant signs "BYO Wine Only."
Not that I want to cheat the restaurants but those joints never sell beer that I am interested in drinking so I thought why not make a nice strong doppelbock, bottle it in champagne bottles, cork the suckers and put a pretty label on them?
Only downside to my plan was finding that corking equipment is upwards off $100
