Hi all,
Well I have finally treid making a belgian style Wit, and I threw the orage peel, coriander and cumin into the boil for 10 mins, and I have left it in there while fermenting, shoudl I rack it to get it off this stuff, or should it not matter?

Not sure on that one, every time I have done one I have left the peel & spice in the boiler. As long as the 10min boil is enough to sanitise the peel i guess you will be ok. Not sure how much additional flavour you will get out by sitting it on the peel & spice, may not want to get too much or it will be out of balance. If it were me I would rack it off them.

Interested to see if anyone else has left them in the primary?

go the whit yeast if you can, it's a really bizarre character
try all sorts of peel but at the end of the boil (like someone else said)
and only the zest, no pith
and coriander is good but Cumin? that's a curry dirty sock smell, not really the fragrant belgian wit style, but hey, make a curry beer if you're keen
