For any extract brewers out there:
I recently bought some "brew your own" magazines (from the US).
Coopers advertises quite heavily in this mag and i noticed from one of their ads that the LDME is only 59.9% fermentable.
Sure, many of you probably knew this but i certainly didnt (i thought more like 75%) - and therefore the LLME must be only about 50% fermentable!
This explains why my OG readings arnt quite as high as i expect.
And for those that dont know, the importers to the US have a website thats worth a look at for the extract brewer: www.cascadiabrew.com
