I was thinking about putting down this recipe

-Coopers Dark Ale 1.7kg
-LDME 1kg
-Sugar 0.5kg

Made to 20L using T-58

I'm basically worried about the IBU (which comes to 37) overpowering the yeast profile. Or could somebody recommend me another kit to use?

as T58 produces a spicy overtone I dont think the bitterness will be a problem, what sugar?I have made a nice brew with your recipe but using 1kg coops be2 and 250grm golden syrup fermented @ 18c,a nice spicy winter brew with a creamy head,IBU bout 32

Thanks for info. I should of said brown sugar but yeah it's too much. Maybe 250g should do it.
